February's Focus is on a correct Burning Bowl Ceremony. Powerful to partake in at any time you wish to release what no longer serves you.
BURN OUT AND BURN IN! Release the Past and Move Forward.
This is a MUST DO Ceremony in order to let go of that which is not serving you, and in order to usher in what you desire and intend. This should be considered a “rite of renewal” for you. Allow it to be a catalyst for forward movement. At it's core... A Burning Bowl Ceremony is about releasing what is holding you back, especially unhealthy relationships, negative or unnecessary emotions, thoughts, behaviors and patterns. Often what is let go of includes grudges, hurts, regrets and suffering- real or perceived. And igniting the flames of change.
A potent Burning Bowl ceremony can be held alone or with others. It is recommended to hold this ceremony with others though as the group energy can be very powerful. Solo Burning Bowl ceremonies can be just as impactful. Instructions are below. You have choices as to what type of ceremony you prefer. You can make this a very spiritual happening, playing spiritual music, meditating first and proceeding as if it is a sacred ceremony. Or you may choose to hold a more festive Burning Bowl ceremony. Serve your refreshments, play your favorite music, have people feeling jovial as much as they are also feeling reflective. Note: I having a more festive gathering you may wish to have guests make their lists and /or fill their index cards out in advance.
Any and all ways will prove successful. The format DOES NOT MATTER so much as you might think. However you choose to move forward will be perfect for you. Your intention to change is what matters so hold this powerful ceremony in the form that works best for you.
The ceremony begins with an invitation to review and reflect on your life. Next to have an opportunity for participants to let go of thoughts, feelings, emotions, patterns, events, and ideas that no longer serve them. Then to move forward to manifest and usher in the new.
Supplies You Need for the Burning Ceremony:
• 8 ½ x 11 paper • Index cards • Pen • Matches or lighter • Fireplace, Fire Pit, Wood Stove, Grill or Candle• Burn Friendly Container: Metal or Glass Bowl if using a candle • 3 pieces of paper for your lists. • Scissors
Begin in the following manner... Take the time to contemplate the passing period of time- the ups and downs. As well as to think about patterns, behaviors and actions that you wish to release.
As you make your lists, leave room between each thought as you are going to take a scissor and cut your list into individual thoughts and burn each individual thought by itself at your Burning Bowl Ceremony. Or instead of a master list, you can write them out on individual index cards or individual pieces of paper from a small pad.
Be in the right mind set! Do not write out of anger or spite or revenge. Clear your head of any ‘heat of the moment thoughts”. Calm yourself.
You may find it beneficial to book private session time to further expand your spiritual development. Email Julie Ann directly to inquire about packages or simply book an initial session and discuss your development at that time.
LIST# 1: BURNING IN: WHAT I AM MOST GRATEFUL FOR.
Write down a master list of the things that you are most grateful for at this time in your life. This list can include: a new job, a relocation, a new love, a health scare that turned out to be nothing. State them in the following way. Start each item with MY
LIST #2: BURNING OUT: WHAT YOU ARE READY TO LET GO OF.
Write down a master list of the things that you are ready to let go of at this time in your life. This list can include: disappointments with yourself and others, old hurts, grievances and hard-hearts that have played themselves out, grudges, your own secret store of shame, and undoings, etc... Be sure to focus on yourself in a way that you acknowledge what you have control over and can release.
State them in the following way. Start each item with MY
LIST #3: SEALING IN: WHAT YOU ARE READY TO MANIFEST Write down a master list of the things that you are ready to manifest in at this time in your life. Intentions, resolutions, wishes, whatever you wish to name them. Vision a period of time and note on all levels how you wish it to form and ebb. You may find many of these thoughts are the flip side of the second list. Note the specific items: new house, new love, stronger health, healthful habits that stick, etc...
State them in the following way. Starting with I
PREPARATION TO BURN
Take your 3 lists and cut between each individual thought or rewrite each individual thought on a separate index card. Be sure to keep all 3 piles separate.
If you are with others, each person will take turns burning intention papers into a fire. You can share what you have written or not. You can take turns going up and BURNING IN or do it together. Then do the same for BURNING OUT and lastly for SEALING IN.
Burning these papers is a symbolic act of showing gratitude, letting go and thus creating space for positive intentions for the coming year or period of time you are intending. The energy that is created and cleared and renewed and refreshed will form the foundation for your beautiful entry into the New Year or new time frame you hold in your intention.
Take time to reflect and look forward to unburdening and renewing yourself soon in a cleanse of purifying flames. Remember that you really have to be ready to release- spiritually and on all levels for each item. Otherwise the magic of the ceremony for certain things may not manifest in the time frame that you desire. No worries if that is the case. If perhaps you were not quite ready to release at the initial time a Burning Bowl Ceremony was held, then you can always put it forward at a future time to put forward your releasing intention at that time.
Best Wishes on all of your forward movement!
